"Adakah kamu menyangka bahawa kamu akan masuk syurga padahal kamu belum didatangi (ujian) seperti yang dialami oleh orang-orang dahulu. Mereka ditimpa kepapaan, penyakit dan ketakutan. Sehingga berkata rasul dan orang yang beriman bersamanya; "Bilakah akan datang pertolongan Allah?"Ingatlah bahawa pertolongan Allah sangat dekat".
(Surah al-Baqarah ayat 214)
Entries today for double day, 11th and 12th of Ramadhan. Last night there a live telecast at ESPN on focus of the deadline transfer. An hour full of talking. 5minutes the time and i slept. Nothing much happend during last minutes. All the big fours keen to keep their money and gamble to the existing squads.
Happend to watch Inside Dubai on Discovery Channel. It is a great discovery show about Dubai and showing almost all the pros and cons of their sudden development. Not all those who live there like about what happened to the country in such a nick of time. The most interesting fact for me is that 1/4 total numbers of cranes in the world happen to be in Dubai at this time. Me like whatt?? Come on.. the size of the country is not that big to have that much cranes. On the show also they make an interview with the local people asking about the impact on themselves because of this sudden development. There some with +ve comments and what i want to share today is one of the local said that not all the things look pretty and they actually have to bear with the consequences. He said the population of the local there is only 20%, 80% of them are from the outside of Dubai. The local felt they not in their own country. Erk, dont want! And despite there are "muslim country", he said that the beach is now not a comfortable places to take family visit since now outsider tend to wear sexy attire which is actually against the Islam act. But, the government actually close their eyes since the tourism is their main core business. Burp, not funny! And on top of that, Dubai now have their own clubbing spaces. Wow, welcome to our definition of Islamic country. Renung2 kan lah, kalau ini kemajuan yang kita mahu. Saya sanggup & rela hidup di bawah tempurung!
